The manual for my motherboard says:

"If you are using a processor cartridge that runs on a 100 MHz system bus, you must use memory that operates on a 100 MHz memory bus (PC-100 memory) "

But, I found a great deal on PC133 memory (256MB PC133 for $29.99). I currently have two sticks of 64MB PC100 RAM installed. Can I put the PC133 RAM in my system? Can I keep my two other sticks?

Processor is Intel Celeron 400Mhz PII .

    Please advise.

    Thanks

    Mitch

As a general supplement to Pete's guidance, go slow on this one. Not all PC133 is backwards compatable. A lot of your "budget" memory isn't going to run because of the size and speed of the individual chips on the memory module itself. As an alternative, you may be able to find some compatable memory at Geeks.com

    ;)

    edit: Here's one option.
    Here's another.
Pesonally, I'd recommend your first of the two but its almost sold out.
