PC 'Freezing'-Help!

    Just spent quite some time reading all the posts in the linked forum ...... very interesting. I can deduce that some do not feel their system has slowed down noticably etc Others have noticed a big crawl.......

    I downloaded the patch on the 18th. I had disabled NAV before doing so & also defragmented at some stage that day. My system isn't crawling to a halt BUT I have noticed IE takes a while & OE takes time to open including e-mails thus I feel this could be my part of the slow down.

    I thought it was other things until I read the posting here. To think that the first time I tried to download it failed ...... I was mad to try again ..... this is when I disabled NAV.......
    as it does not seem to be of the utmost importance at least it will lighten the list of Hot Fixes piling up in the pc !!!!
