Partitioning a 500GB HD?

    While I'm here - I noticed a couple things today:

    1. When I booted up the pic on my desktop looked normal and then suddenly got a white tinge to it, as if an overlay was applied. Can't say exactly when but just after the desktop became visible.

    2. When I hit control/alt/delete nothing happened. No task manager. Never seen this before.

    Did you load the motherboard chipset drivers after installing XP?

    Does Task Manager appear if you right click the Task Bar > Task Manager?

    Bad keyboard!

    Hooked up another one and she's fine.
    Any thoughts on why the screens gets whitish?

    Will do the Tweak UI after a bit. Still fooling w/ the pics and music.

    The white was coming from the color profile in NVIDA.
    When I switched the profile from standard to advanced it was fixed.

    I made the folders, and BTW Tweak UI is a piece of cake. Now I'm not sure what they were going on about either. :rolleyes:
    Is there a way to change the location for Bookmarks (Firefox), since I don't use IE?
    And I don't use OE, though I suppose I could copy my address book from Yahoo? Do you know how I'd do this?

    Probably - but I do not use Firefox - post in the Firefox, Thunderbird & SeaMonkey - Windows BBS forum
    Llikewise I don't use Yahoo, but it seems that you can export the Address Book for backup purposes .....
