Overtop vs Clean Install

    Hello DWFII,

    Your last question indicates that there really isn't any compelling reason to upgrade given your current hardware/software configuration. For you and people like you - running configurations three or more years old, either go to a new system or set up a dual boot system.

    I setup a dual boot system with a 2nd HD, the least trouble - doesn't disturb 98 at all while working on any XP hardware/software issues. XP would have access to 98's files, and 98 would have access to XP's files if XP is set up with FAT32 files.
