Outlook 2010 issues and inserting photos

    Hello everyone.
    I have an ongoing problem and i am not sure where it started from.

    When I create a new message in Outlook 2010 and want to insert a photo in the body of the message I select the photo from the related folder and select INSERT> When i do this the program Locks Up and freezes for a few minutes and then loads the image. If I only did this once in a while it would be no big issue. However I have to do this at least 50 times a day in our industry.

    Long and short of it is can anyone tell me what to look for to stop the program from hanging up?

    What size are the photos? Are they several "megs" in size?
