    Ok check this out Broni-

Last night as per your instructions I downloaded AVIRA and updated it.
    Everything was fine.
This morning I go in and click on the Avira icon on my desktop cause I noticed it didn't load up.
Shortcut error sign saying the item had been changed or removed which is obviously false cause it happened late last night and I went to bed afterwards.
Now you say AVG shows up when I've run that cleaner you gave me about a trillion times.
    Something very fishy going on!!
And I need an anti-virus pronto!
Hope this doesn't take me all day today as well.Sheesh.

AVG Is nowhere in my computer man...I uninstalled it yesterday.

I can see what happened :)
You keep posting old HJT log:
    I've seen this happen before.
    Uninstall HJT.
    Download and install fresh copy.
    Post new log.

OK, AVG is really gone, but there is something wrong with Avira.
I can see two services running, but there is no active Avira process.
See, if restarting computer will work.
Do you still have Avira installation file, you downloaded last night?

I'm not sure what's going on here.
Your computer is definitely clean, so that's not the issue.

Well, I guess, you should try to uninstall Avira and try Avast then.
    I know, it's a pain with dial-up....

Avast has been installed and the definitions updated.
I rebooted to see if everything was alright in case it did an Avira on me but it loaded up just fine.
In utter disbelief,I rebooted yet again cause anyone can win the lottery for the first time.
And it loaded just fine...so what are the next steps if any,oh great master?

    - Under Administrator options, clear the Use Windows Defender check box, and then click Save.

Enable Windows Defender, when all cleaning is done.
