NS 7.0 New Profile Issues

Good going! At last you have working Profiles, and all is in order.

If you rename those Address Books, I guarantee you that you will have to start over again. If you think you might not be able to identify each one, then make a note of them now, while it is fresh in your mind. AB-1 is Services, etc.

I experimented with name changes. If the name is changed, the information is saved in the AB with the name change, BUT... the addresses are not available once you are online, and there is still an abook-1.mab file in your *.slt folder.

You would have to open the file with the name change
Copy the Addresses
Paste the Address into the corresponding abook-1, 2, or 3.mab file.

You don't want to go there. Don't fix what is not broken. Enjoy your browsing, and in a few days if you continue with no Profile problems, then I would trash the corrupt Profiles on the HD. Remembering to back up your GOOD Profile first.
