Windows Vista No internet connection after installing a USB adapter

Not sure what to say about the NIC card, the location details are quite normal. The ISP tech said it was not reading the cable so I would guess it has a fault on it, did it just suddenly stop working, might be the cable. You could try the command again I gave in post 2 (delete the old report first) and I may be able to see something that is set wrong.

The [] around some letters is a new one on me and I am at a loss to suggest what that might be apart from a fault on your keyboard.
