I don't know. I've tried contacting support. No answer on the phone or email. It seems if you ain't registered, they won't even talk to you.

Can you get your friend to register just to see what happens. You'll need the S/N(serial number) all the Product Information should be on the box if your friend still has it. A lot of manufacturers recently been listing the S/N in the BIOS. I have yet to work on a NextBook Flexx 11 I do not know if this your friend's Model Number or not NXW116QC264T. It should be listed on the box or some where on the machine. He'll just have to remember where it was purchased and the Date of purchase.

    Success!

I'd like to thank everyone for their input. I have it done now. A special thanks to Evan Omo for letting me know I didn't have to worry about the product code. After installing i noticed the sound wasn't working and several yellow exclamations in the device manager. While I was looking for the sound driver on my other laptop, the Nextbook proceeded to fix itself. In a short while, it fixed everything by itself.

    Call this one solved!

Excellent. You might need to manually install some of your drivers for the hardware devices like the video adapter, sound, network, motherboard chipset etc. but other than that you should be all set.

Nope. All devices are working. They might have MS drivers, but I'm not worried about it. It's good enough for his woman to get on facebook and trade selfies.

    Thanks again
