I have a dell desttop computer that I just updated with the window xp 2 pak and after the update, I could not get on line. When called At&t (they are my internet co.) I was told that after the up date I have lost my network adaptor and I have to call Dell to find out what I can I do. After calling find out that I have to pay them so they can correct this problem. So this is my problem any body can help. Thank you very much.

Look in Device Manager and see if you have any YELLOW ! or ?. If so, what is it? If it is the NIC card, uninstall it and reboot and let windows find it.
