[Inactive] My computer resets itself randomly.

Whenever I am watching a video on youtube or playing a game My computer will just shut down and start rebooting. It will then ask me if I would like to start my computer anyways or start it with the last known good configuration. This has been frustrating me and it only happens when I'm in the middle of something. I know almost nothing about computers, so if someone could help I would be grateful.

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

We encourage all members to complete their System Specifications which help us to help you :)

At the very least post your OS - XP, Vista or 7 and the make and model no. of the computer - Dell, HP, Gateway or if it is home built please say so.

Your thread does not belong in the Malware & Virus Removal forum and will be moved to the appropriate forum when the above detail is known. Your issue is most unlikely to be related to malware, more likely to hardware/software.
