    FORMAT A: <press enter>

    XCOPY C:\NTLDR A:\ /H <press enter>

    XCOPY C:\NTDETECT.COM A:\ /H <press enter>

    XCOPY C:\BOOT.INI A:\ /H <press enter>

Voila! It's a done deed. It makes no difference if you type small letters or large letters, they all mean the same. I usually post upper case letters for clarity but always type lower case for my own file script for expediency.

Remove disk and reboot. Hit spacebar when GoBack screen appears. Place disk in drive bay. Click on "Boot from Floppy" and you'll be on your way to Windows XP.

    Good luck.

One more question Zephyr, when I try to view the contents of what I record to floopy disk, it´s empty.

What to do to view this files, I try Tools > Folder Options... > View > Show hidden files and folders but nothing happens:confused:

    OK what to do???

I forget to tell You, the size of what I record to floppy disk is 262 KB, is that OK or it is different for everyone.

    Thanks!!!

To view those files you will also need to "Uncheck" the box labeled "Hide protected operating system files" It's a couple lines below the "Show hidden files and folders" box that you checked.

Yes, 262 kbytes is the correct aggragate value for those files. It would not likely vary from that value unless you are running a dual boot system.

No, it makes no difference about your partition arrangement.
