I'm not using a screen saver BTW and all of sudden my monitor which I have set to shut off in 20 minutes, is no longer doing that and is staying on. Is this a hard fix? Please advise. Thank you.:(

Hi and welcome to the BBS,

Look in the power saving settings, you can make up a new power scheme and try using that and maybe that will reset things so you can go back to your normal power scheme.

Look for updated chipset drivers at the motherboard/system manufacturer's website. Those are probably the ones which will govern the power saving system.

You need to add your system information to your WindowsBBS user profile
    http://www.windowsbbs.com/adding_system_specifications.html
otherwise you will need to list them in any questions you have.

    Matt
