    [Resolved] Malware & Virus Removal

Hello--I'm not sure what I need to do with my spybot search & destroy picked up a virus I'm assuming--the entry was in red MicrosoftWindowsSecurityCenter.AntivirusOverride--The explanation was telling me in the registry key HKEY/Local/Machine/Software/SecurityCenter/AntiVirusOverride [is not] dword=0. I clicked on the specific registry key and it read for a number 1 alongside.
Just wanted to get your opinion before I went and fix the problem. I had another red entry Doubleclick.net tracking cookie Google Chrome and I went ahead and fix that entry I didn't think there would be any harm in doing so. But this other one not to sure of this one.
    Thank you for any advise.
    Garry

    It is just an information.
Spybot-S&D only wants to bring to your attention that "someone" disabled one or more notifications in the Windows Security Center, e.g. the notifications that your virus protection is not active or not up-to-date. If you changed the settings yourself you can safely tell Spybot-S&D to exclude those detections from further scans.
If you didn't change anything, let Spybot fix the issue.
In that case, it's often a sign of some infection, which changed the above registry setting.
    I suggest...
Read this post, then post the requested log(s).

Thank you Broni (Malware Analyst) for your quick reply -- I did what you suggested and excluded this entry from any further scans.
    I do appreciate the help.
