No this issue is not resolved. I continue to live with a bad situation on Outlook which is quite a mess as follows:
    • Clicking on Address Book icon brings up an empty address book
    • Have more than one address book including one that is empty
    • After doing repair using “scanpst.exe” auto complete seems to be starting to remember addresses from a fresh start
    • Have more than one mail account listed in the contents area including gmail but only one mail account
o Two accounts shown in the contents area:
 RW gmail account---under it is:
    • Inbox
    • But no sent mail, draft items, deleted items, outbox
    • Has all my folders---which is very important
    • Has a gmail folder which seems to contain everything that can be seen by going directly to gmail
 2014 Dec 18 RW gmail account (IMAP) which I copied and saved to a folder
    • After doing some cleanup in the contents area had to load this to get Outlook to open
    • Inbox is empty
    • Shows current draft
    • Shows a random sprinkling of a very few recent sent mail---not all
    • For sent mail in the favorites had to drag the “sent mail” from gmail
o Otherwise don’t have a sent mail list
    • Always getting 2 copies of sent mail
    • Deleted mail does not get deposited in deleted mail box---so no opportunity for second thought to recover deleted mail
    • Seems to spend a lot of time synchronizing subscribed folders

In total its quite a mess which I believe multiplied with the introduction of iCloud and IMAP
I have uninstalled iCloud but nothing has changed including Outlook runs constantly on synchronizing subscribed folders.
