I chechecked all entries in CCleaner, all essential boxes where unticked, still require to login. Log out is attained by clicking [x] top right of BBS window. I am doing exactly the same procedure as always, but now require full login procedure. IE tools has not been altered in months.

Are you closing your browser window or clicking the log out link here?

Bottom line is that the login info is store within cookies on your machine.

Just click the RED X on the top RIGHT corner of IE and then come back here and see if you are still logged in. That is the way I do it for all the sites that I visit other than my Credit Union or Credit Card Company.

The above is the crux. We have no way of knowing what software/procedures you have in place, but the cookie is being deleted. It is something on your 'end'.

My last backup 17:08:2012, as you will remember I was plagued with an error with Microsoft Windows 7 64bit Backup/Restore, error now fixed. All cookies are not removed as in CCleaner etc. Only other software installed now removed was Auslogic at the time login error kicked in.

As a last resort completely removed CCleaner from my computer. My login is now remembering my User/Password. Again I must be entirely alone in having to remove CCleaner from computer, as no one else is experiencing error.

It takes me all of two to three seconds to login. :)

As Arie said "We have no way of knowing what software/procedures you have in place, but the cookie is being deleted. It is something on your 'end'. "

    PeteC, my settings:

    IE> Options> Privacy> Advanced> First Party Cookies [x] Accept> Third Party[x] Block. Same settings since the 90s, Windows XP and Windows 7 64bit.

SpywareDr, you are most fortunate, is that "Remember Me" or manual entry entering User Name/Password each time.

When I login I select "Remember Me ", which should keep the cookie alive during my session (unless it times out of course). When I leave I click "Log Out ", which should delete the cookie.

SpywareDr, I f I tick box "remember me" and then log out, it causes me to having to enter again user name/Password. To conteract this, I click remember me and log off by clicking [x] at top right hand corner of the IE browser. Reason unknown to me, we both log off utilising opposite methods, to obtain the same result.
