Any user of LibreOffice 5.0. experience difficulty in clearing the screen logo when closing a session of LibreOffice. I clear it by a refresh of screen, previously logo disappeared on closing LO. A solution would be most appreciated. Thanks.

When LO opens on clicking the Database saved file, it opens the Logo "LibreOffice 5.0" coloured Green with a black coloured pattern. Previously the Logo cleared on closing the Saved file (each session to add further details) the Logo was cleared from monitor screen. At present, two options to clear are : clicking Refresh or swiping over LO opened file over the LO Logo. In Vista this error was not found.

Try adding this switch to your shortcut icon Properties that starts each application:
    -nologo

    For example:
    libreoffice4.3 -writer -nologo

I am not sure as to how to add your suggestion I open the LO (Database) named "Weather 2015" and insert what ever additional data is available, then save. Each use of this "Weather 2015" opens LO, and Logo which should show for a second, remains on and requires the use of refresh to clear Logo. I hope this makes sense. Thanks Bobby.

Another similar is WLM and reference to Windows 7 Explorer not responding. It may result in Microsoft in wanting me to upgrade to Windows 10, which I am just ignoring. It appears that Microsoft is bombarding people using their OS to upgrade whether you want to or not. Could these errors be caused by MS to force an upgrade just to stop this hassle?

There's a shortcut for libreoffice database program somewhere on your comp, check in start menu or start screen.

if in a start menu, right click that shortcut and select Properties. The Shortcut Tab will show the Target:, which is the path to the exe file. After the .exe add a space and then -nologo.

Open the database program using the shortcut. It should load w/out the logo screen.

Thanks for your suggestion, carried out as noted and Logo still shows only for a flash and disappears. This will definitely suit my need, thank you. What is causing WLM to occasionally require a "refresh" to close WLM window?

My think is that your video card is lagging, or there's some other software that intercepts user actions, e.g. a security program that filters user activity. Or the Display settings are misconfigured.

I certainly agree with your observations as to software interacting in some way but finding the culprit is the problem. Thanks.

Just for giggles, and if have noticed any other oddities, start a post in the malware forum.
