Windows Vista Latest Vista Updates Won't Install (error codes: 8007371C and 800703F9)

Looks like a very busy computer and I agree it is most unlikely that the warning from Malwarebytes relates to any of those programs. On reflection, it is therefore quite probable that there is a virus still in your system that is creating a connection to an infected site. It may well have been this virus that caused the other infections to get into your system.

Try MSE, I wouldn't want to put money on it but I think there is a very good chance it will find something.

 

Am doing so - but I plan to return more fully to the fray of updating Windows in a coupla weeks...
