Try following the instructions here, ZoneAlarm Removal Instructions.

Also make sure you right click the ZoneAlarm tool and select Run as administrator so that the tool runs with administrative privileges.

Since you could not uninstall certain applications due to some program errors we will use another method of removing those applications.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Download the portable version of Revo Uninstaller. (The link is at the very bottom of the download page)

    2. Save the folder to your desktop.

    3. Once the program has finished downloading, locate the zipped folder, right click it and select Extract all.

    4. After the folder has been extracted open up the folder and locate the revouninstaller.exe program.

    5. Launch the program by right clicking on the revouninstaller.exe program and selecting Run as administrator and locate the application that you want to remove.

    6. Highlight the entry and select Uninstall.

    7. A window will come up asking you which mode you would like to use to remove the program.

    8. Click on Advanced Mode and then click the Next button.

    9. Follow the steps in the Wizard and make sure that you delete all files and registry entries that are found for the program.

    10. If there is more than one entry in the programs list that you want to remove, then follow steps 6-9 again.

    11. After the removal process finishes for all the programs that you wanted to remove, restart the computer.

    12. Once the computer reboots, see if those applications have been fully removed from your machine.

Please download Autoruns. After you download the zipped folder on your desktop, right click the zipped folder and click Extract All. After the folder has been extracted open the regular folder. Run the autoruns.exe program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator. When you open the program click the Logon Tab and then post a screenshot of all the startup entries in your next reply.

Sorry for the delay on getting back to you. I figured out what was freezing my laptop up. It was one of my games that I had just downloaded once I got rid of it every thing went back to normal. No more freezing no more crashes so it looks like I am good to go. I will watch it for a few days and if every thing is all good will mark this thread as solved. Thanks for the help guys..:D

In Autoruns remove the following items:

    Realtek HD Audio Manager
    Synaptics Touch Pad Enhancements
    HP Accelerometer
    HP Message Service
    Power DVD RC Service
    Power2Go

Then reboot the computer and let me know if you are getting any more blue screens.

Still seems to be running okay. Will give it a few days and mark as resolved if nothing comes up..
