   Ran the Dell Diagnostic
   
   All goes fine till "Booting Dell Diagnostic Utility Partition ". I hit enter to start and get "Loading DRMK Version 8.00 "
   
   At that, it locks up and does nothing.

   This seems to be a relatively common problem - I suggest you read through these hits on Google .....
