Issues with ZipZap Promos and Instant access

    If you're refering to the two files in my last post, those are the files that are comressed in the cab file you downloaded, the one you get if you click the link in that 016 entry you just fixed. You probably didn't ask for it either. It was an ActiveX control dropped on you when you visited a site or got a popup. It's one that seems associated with the Zipzappromos infection quite often, and what most likely re-infected your machine. The immunizations I previously recommended, SpywareBlaster and IESpyad, along with Spybot's SD Helper and Immunize feature will help to prevent that happening in the future. You should also have your ActiveX controls set to at least prompt in the internet zone. Not positive, but I think the default medium setting for that zone is set to prompt.

    Dave, I have some news (not entirely good), while surfing on saturday, Microsoft anti-spyware mentioned that it had a scheduled scan pending, and when it scanned it said the PC had 2 dialers in it.

    I checked and indeed it did, they were removed, today, while using Spybot, it said instant access had been found again, so here's my HJT log file
