Is my CPU FRIED?

One of my friends swears by this little USB docking station he has. Basically, it's just a little tablet that sits under his laptop and has 4 or 6 fans on it.

Clever little device, but it adds something like an extra pound, maybe two, to what you're carrying. (My personal limit is around 5 lbs - after that, it's no longer really a "portable" solution. Then again, I also believe if you have to carry more peripherals than an AC adapter, you shouldn't have bought a laptop in the first place... Personal preference there, though.)

I've researched as to which one I should get, and is the one that you suggested/have/friends of yours have it, the one you think is best?? I'll order it right now after you tell me which one to get.

Fan noise has never bothered me much, so long as it's within "reasonable parameters" lol...Boy, that could mean anything, too, couldn't it? haha...
