One more once: I was referring to FILES IN USE. these apps, can not delete those but can identify those for deletion on next reboot. Open and shut.

The new app distinguishes itself by not delineating that and presenting you with a reboot now or not screen....as opposed to giving you the information, the list of files in use which will be deleted on next reboot in a Less Hard Sell manner.

This is noT complicated, guys. CCleaner does not address these things, but again, CleanUp! and Find Junk Files both do visibly.

And while CleanUp! does ask you after listing the files to be deleted on next reboot....asks you politely and elelgatly if you wanna log off now to delete the files in question? BUT it does Not press you LIKE A FASCIST do to that immediately..

But it's interesting, if also enervating.. to be party to this thread being hijacked in a way...as if the Jilly did not start it in the first place or post any viable subsequent issues within it as those issues were observed in the normal, organic UNFOLDING.

    Sigh.

I'm curious. What actually happened in your case? What got messed up?

Just a quick reply to your question.

    1. Knocked out Ghost 14.0 - had to be repaired
    2. Knocked out the Raid (JMB36X) Configurer - had to be re-loaded
    and
    3. prevented 4 other TSR's loading - had to be re-configured to be included in the Run values / files.
