    They probably meant to reflect that the average PC user was quite happy to use the IE browser as it came with the OS and were unsure of getting involved with other browsers.
    I would venture to say that women in the 45 years and upwards bracket would not experiment much at all.
    I'm purely speaking from my own experiences with my wife who has used a computer during her working years and yet when she retired, joined Seniornet to learn how to use MS Office and Excel.
    During her 22 years in the employment she used the computer, an IT guy handled any problems and maintained the Network etc.
    I would venture to say there are millions who use computers daily in their work, do not go outside normal operational areas when using computers. Cheers Neil.;)
