I am helping my ex with her computer. Her IE gives the error message "Internet Explorer stopped working and needs to close." The add-ons are currently disabled. Is there anything else I can do to solve them problem? The system is vista and Internet Explorer is 9.0

Have you shut the PC off and then restarted it? Cleaned out Temp Files, and all the other stuff in there?

Yes, I have cleaned the Internet temp files. Still the problem persists. I ran antimalware bytes and removed 4 malware. Did registry cleaning.

I think that your next step is to head to the Malware section and post the logs that are asked for there.

After different things I did including resetting the IE, I finally restored the computer to a previous stage and IE is working properly now. Thank you for your responses, Evan and Mr. Bill.
