Installation Problem in XP

    Mukundh,
    I had same prob when installing XP. I disabled system cache in BIOS and had no probs after that! Another thing you can try is to change PIO mode of hard drive in BIOS. Make sure that BIOS is seeing your drives properly before install. Hope this helps.:)

    hiya dudes

    good news
    i got xp working

    i disabled my on board sound card in bios

    i booted with my xp cd
    deleted all my partitions thru xp setup
    and also created new partitions and setup after formatting it

    now it works perfectly
