Install error on new software

I resently tried to install 2 different packages and keep getting this errror message.

"please make sure you have finished any previous setup "

Error Code: -5004 : 0x800705aa
Error Information:

Its happened twice now with 2 different installations.

Searched the net and seems to be a common problem, but no one posted and answers.

Running windows XP, SP2.
Logged on as administrator.
all programs closed when intalling.

This worked for me.

Move the folder: c:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield to another location.

Try the installation.
Afterwards don’t forget to move the folder back.

Common Files is a hidden folder so make sure you're showing those in My Computer.
