the warning in device manager are after installing xp some to do with intel's chipset?
i forget which something like 8000 series any there is no SMBus controller so my system gets a little unsatble (generic host encounted problem and needs to close that sort of thing)

because i knew where to go this time for all 4 missing driver ( and dell being infection free)

after the 2nd download install reboot, i went to save the files in a seperate folder then warning msg access is denied, so i log out and there was "owner" again as admin i shut it down and left it alone

Are you by chance using a Recovery cd, or Re-installation cd? The Owner account sounds like something you would get from am OEM installation. A regular operating system cd installation should prompt you for a username during setup, and unless you specified the name Owner, there would not be an account with that name. The only other way you would still have an account named Owner is if you did not do as I directed above, which was; during the setup process, delete the existing primary partition (the one containing C:\Windows), create a new partition in/with that space, format the partition (using ntfs) and install a fresh operating system.

Download all available device drivers for that machine from Dell in case they're needed. Use the Sevice Tag # for proper identification and downloads.
