    ESET found no problems, so didn't produce a log. I have tried to turn on windows defender, but it will not turn on, i just get an error message :
    Access is denied error code 0x80070005

    Sorry, Avast and Trend appeared to not be installed. When i clicked on their desktop icon's , they wanted to install. So i uninstalled them all together. I have updated the Adobe flash and reader already. And yes, i unchecked all the add on BS. The computer downloaded 75 windows updates while it was connected to the internet, found this out when i went to shut down, took nearly 1 hour to install them all. I have also updated Firefox. I then installed Avast again, but it appears to not be able to connect to the site to check and update definitions, it just sits there doing nothing. All else appear to be working well.

    Avast is now working ok , and connects to their server for definitions download. May be there was a problem with heir site when i tried yesterday. The only problem i can still see is with the screen saver. When setting up screen saver, all is showing ok, and preview of screen saver is also showing correctly, but when back in desktop, when screensaver comes on, we are getting a blacked out screen, no screen saver image. any movement of the mouse returns the normal desktop.
