Should wuaudt.exe be using 98-99% of the CPU time?
Should it actually be Wuaudt.exe? It is supposed to be associated with Windows Updates but I can't access the onscreen info to turn it off. The computer was scanned with two different Antivirus programs and an anti-malware program and quarantined files were deleted. The registry was cleaned with a registry cleaning program.Threatfire is not detecting anymore malware.
I saw a process called cult something so I'm wondering if it may be the Cult-B trojan.
What is the best way to proceed to stop the process and root it out if it is a trojan?
