Oh great something that you or i did also helped me get trillian messenger to install right with out the weird null at line 1 error message sweet. oops i take that back its null at line -2 error now lol and it still wont come up when i click on a task bar icon but i guess ill just have to say heck with that program.

 

Try uninstalling Trillian via Add/Remove programs, reboot and re-install it.

Glad to hear msconfig is fixed.
