Inactive [InActive] infostealer.gampass please help me remove it.

    Had to open System Restore on Vista to see the options. :rolleyes:

    Did you check the box 'Show restore points older than 5 days'?

    yes it only went back to the 4th.

    I would probably uninstall Photoshop as a next step.

    It did nothing. I think I will call Gateway in the morning and hopefully they can help my restore to the default settings.

    What model is the laptop? Maybe I provide instructions for factory restore.

    So I did it. I had to actually call. The way you suggeated was the way I was trying to restore and it did not give me the options. I had to type in Gateway in the search on the start menue, and the resort option was there. not what it said in the book. lol

    You have been so much help. I don't know how to thank you enough,
    Though I do have another questins for you? DO NOT laugh at me please ;p Is me C the drive and D drive all one in the same?

    I'm happy to hear things are sorted out now. :)

    On that laptop, C: and D: are likely partitions on the same hard drive.
