Inactive IE very slow, FF hijacked

    [Inactive] IE very slow, FF hijacked

    This is a different computer than the other thread I have. This is my laptop. I ran ZA antivirus and it found nothing. But Malware Bytes found 11 things. I haven't done anything with them, because they are mostly connected to Zone Alarm, so I don't know if they are really bad.

    My IE is running sooo slow, and the Firefox homepage is some domain selling site. I didn't make it my home page.

    Also, when I was running za, Zone Alarm kept wanting to connect to things like windows.exe and windowslive.exe. It said it was suspicious activity, so I didn't allow it, but ZA ran properly anyway.

    Please, observe following rules:

    • If you're stuck, or you're not sure about certain step, always ask before doing anything else.
    • Please refrain from running any tools, fixes or applying any changes to your computer other than those I suggest.
    • Never run more than one scan at a time.
    • Keep updating me regarding your computer behavior, good, or bad.
    • The cleaning process, once started, has to be completed. Even if your computer appears to act better, it may still be infected. Once the computer is totally clean, I'll certainly let you know.
