My IE 7 Using 150k+ RAM memory.
Is this anywhere near normal? It is slowing down my system. Mbam doesn't show any viruses and niether does Trend's Micro Internet Security. Any thoughts?

Hi HerbyJr. Having Internet Explorer using about 150 Kilobytes of RAM seems pretty normal to me. Do you only experience a slow down of your system when IE is running? Have you tried running Internet Explorer with no addons? (Start< All Programs< Accessories< System Tools< Internet Explorer No-Addons)

Also your a bit behind the times using IE7. I would update to Internet Explorer 8 and see if your issue gets resolved. Download Internet Explorer 8.

As Evan says, 150K memory use seems quite normal. And memory usage will not slow down your system (if you have enough of it).

I suggest you start by filling out your System Details.

For example, I have 2 instances of IE8 open, one of them with 8 tabs, and it uses around 340KB.
