Want to move my favorites file that store all of the bookmarks to a safer location on my hard drive. If the system crashes, I can easily move the folder back and not lose any bookmarks.

Need to know what is the file name that stores the 'favorites' information.

Also, where in IE5.5sp2 does it tell it to point to it. I want to move the file and have IE point to it inorder to keep it current.

    Need help.
    Thanks.....

Depends on what operating system your using, but for windows 9x the favorites are individual shortcut files stored in C:\Windows\Favorite folder. You can copy and paste away…
