    Currently I'm using WMP 12.
When I download a song from a website, the player will automatically update the album art WHICH I DONT LIKE IT.

I tried to get rid of it through tons of websites, but it seems nothing worked and things got worse when the album art they update is WRONG.

Any way to permanently delete the album art through the correct way? Any suggestions is appreciated.

Hi scgoh123. The album art is located in your Music folder but is hidden by default. To unhide it, click Start< My Computer. Then click Tools< Folder Options. When the folder options window opens click on the view tab. Select the option that says show hidden files and folders. After thats done uncheck the checkbox that says hide protected operating system files. Click Yes to confirm the action. Now click on Ok to close the Folder Options window.

Click Start< Music. The album art should now show up as pictures in your music folder. Highlight the album art picture that you no longer want and delete it.

Try navigating to this directory and deleting the album art.

Click Start< My Computer and navigate to: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media Player\Art Cache\LocalMLS

The album art should hopefully show up in that folder.

You could try unchecking the following checkboxes in the Windows Media Player 12 Options and seeing if that makes any difference with the album art.

    See my screenshots below.

Sorry for my late reply cuz I was out for these few days.
Tried your method but still there. I think it's better to just leave it there (HAIZ)
