You are quite welcome. Tell him to let you play with the old PC when he gets a new one. You know, so you can be as crazy as the rest of us on here.... :D

Well the owner now wants me to repair IE9 it seems that he is going to hold off getting the new computer. Now he would like to go back to IE8. Now he's leaving it up to me.

Ok. Before you uninstall IE9 try this. Open IE and click Tools< Internet Options< Advanced Tab< Under Browsing make sure the enable 3rd party browser extensions option is checked. Then click Ok. Restart IE9 for the changes to take effect.

If that doesn't work then you can try removing IE9 and testing the issue with IE8.

Went to Tools\Internet Options\Advanced then reset IE9 and now everything is working properly.

I am glad he finally made up his mind. It was getting a bit confusing. At my age I'm easily confused. Thanks again everyone.

You should have in Tools/Privacy/Advanced, 3rd party cookies blocked. It probably allowed them when you did what you did.

I called the owner, walked him through it and he changed it. I completely forgot about that. Thanks. Now if I can get him to stop downloading alot of tool bars, and search bars. But that's another challenge.

A lot of tool bars are probably downloaded with some other program because people won't take a minute to look at what they are downloading and take the check out of a box that will download the tool bar.
