Resolved [HP OMNI 100-5154 ALL IN ONE fails to boot]

    think iam just going lock it up as a lost cause, don't think its worth getting fixted by aa pro.

    Probably not. And not many give free estimates either because fixing computers is easy. It is troubleshooting to determining the exact fault that takes time, test equipment, and technical expertise. So very often to give a realistic estimate, the technician needs to spend a couple manhours troubleshooting just to determine it needs a $1 part that takes 15 minutes to replace.

    I am assuming that this Omni All in one is Touch screen so if it won't fire up - you can't do anything with it.
    Bill's suggestion to take it to a repairer follows my question of your warranty.
    The PSU maybe incorporated in the motherboard as in laptops/notebooks. Neil.

    no its not a touch screen, you still have to use a keyboard and mouse. and the warenty has expired.

    gave up, pulled hd and memory, processor. and junk the rest or put it on ebay as a parts machine. thanks for all your help.
