Opening the Settings Icon, displays a choice of colours for Single colour, Show or Off. Setting a procedure choice is possible, however on every new Start-up, it reverts to a Colour scheme, ignoring the OFF setting. Am I correct in thinking it is requires to reset Settings with each Boot up? Any member who has an OMEN Computer experienced this and a way to correct it. Thanks Bobby.

That is normal W10 operation. YOU must select a background COLOUR/THEME of your choice.

Thanks for response. Is this an additional step? As the OMEN is an HP software? Certainly there is no "Save for setting" configured within OMEN Control.

lj50, No, did not think on this procedure. What I did try, in HP Web site downloaded the OMEN Control software and reinstalled it into the Computer. On each cold start and during sessions, now find that the selected colour remains on. It maybe that the preinstalled OMEN Control was corrupted. Thanks to all who showed interest in solving this error. Bobby.
