    Thank you. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it without importing any settings from another browser. So far I haven't seen the ad, though it used to pop up inconsistently. I'll wait a few days and see if it comes back before marking this thread as solved.

    It's nice when things can be resolved. Unfortunately, my other post appears to be unsolvable. I guess my computer can no longer stay in sleep mode.
