Resolved How to stop a page from auto loading on my browser?

This advertising page automatically loads on my CCleaner Browser, but not my other browsers. How can I stop it from loading? Is there a way to block it completely from my computer?

I understand from this advice that care must be taken when installing the browser, as extensions are CHECKED by Default.
You may find the best solution will be to uninstall the browser completely and take care if you re-install it.

 

Thank you. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it without importing any settings from another browser. So far I haven't seen the ad, though it used to pop up inconsistently. I'll wait a few days and see if it comes back before marking this thread as solved.

It's nice when things can be resolved. Unfortunately, my other post appears to be unsolvable. I guess my computer can no longer stay in sleep mode.
