How to remove "Folders" panel in "My Computer"

    In My Computer, go to Tools>Folder Options>File Types.

    Click once on "[NONE] Folder" to select it, click the Advanced button.

    Click once on "open" to select it, click the "Set Default" button, click OK and close the Folder Options window.

    The change will show when you close My Computer and re-open it.
