    I agree.

For example, if her telephone number was (800) 555-1212, you would send an email to:

    8005551212@tmomail.net

    Notes:
    1. Do NOT use any punctuation or alphabetical characters before the "@" symbol. Phone number, digits only.
    2. Do NOT substitute "O "h's for zeros ( "0 "), lowercase "L "'s for ones ( "1 "), or even zeros ( "0 ") for "O "h's. It won't work.
    3. The last 4 characters MUST be ".net ", not ".com ".
    4. For the test message, keep it brief. Maybe something like "Hey Honey" for the Subject and "Call your Dad" (plain-text) in the Body of the message.

My daughter sent a text message to herself using tmomail.net. with the message "text ".
She first received the message but that was quickly followed by a second message that said "Delivery Failure ".

She mentioned that her Samsung phone was programmed and supplied by her company so I guess they could have done something to prevent texts like this. She said she would check with one of her tech guys who might know.

Thanks for all the help guys but I think we have all spent enough time on this. I'll post back if I learn anything more.
