Try it out- I have used it for a year, though I have Word, too, and have been very satisfied.

Hello:
my wife just showed me i/you can rt click on desktop, hit "print screen" then go to wordpad and paste.but that gives you the wordpad heading,etc

 

I think Ctrl + Print Screen will do the whole desktop and Alt + Print Screen will do only the window on top.
