I'm wondering if there is any way to copy the inbox and deleted folders from outlook express on a dead w2k pro computer to a new install on an XP pro one?

Depends on how dead the W2k computer is :) If you can access the drive - either through that PC or by installing the drive as a slave to the XP Pro PC then refer to this sticky thread in the IE/OE forum - to which I have moved your thread....
