Horizontal scroll bar?

    For last couple of days horizontal scroll bar is being triggered on this forum.

    I looked at the board code and I see this:

    When I change "margin" values to:
    5px 0 10px
    all looks fine.

    What's your screen resolution? Which forum skin? Anywhere on the forum, or just particular threads? Which Browser?

    Which browser? At 1280*1024 I'm seeing nothing, and your minimum with is 1440...

    I see no scroll bar at 1024 either once logged in. When I browse as guest there's a small scroll of about 10-15 pix (I would guess).

    Happens here, too.

    It flashes the horizontal bar briefly until the page resolves; again when I click on a link to a thread and again when I "Mark forum read. "

    I get the same effect as Miz. Flashes wider with horizontal scroll bar then settles back to full width with no scroll bar. Happens in less than a second so isn't really a problem but sort of catches your eye!!

    Delete temp files. No problem here with 17.0 nor 18.0

    I use Firebug.

    CSS code in question looks like this:

    Changing value in red to 0 (zero) eliminates scrollbar.

    Correction on the skin I am using, should be Blue - Default. Still does it after clearing temp files.

    Yea, firebug shows
    a 5 pixel top margin with 10 pixels left, right & bottom.

    I'll change it to 5px all around.

    No. You need to change second value from 10px to 0 (no left/right margins).

    No problem with even the original setting, so I have NO idea what to tell you...
