I should of checked before I deleted it. I did a clean reinstall a month or two a go.

I see the latest is 8/4, so maybe it's later then the one I had. I'll try it.

What was happening with the program that made it take up all my RAM?

    Chris.

In Autoruns remove the following items from startup:

    Realtek HD Audio Manager
    EasyTuneVI
    Epson Stylus

When done reboot the computer and let us know if the memory usage is still high or if its back to normal.

Regarding the WD issue of high memory usage it could be simple fact of the program trying to backup files to your external drive that aren't there which could cause the memory usage to grow over time.

Do you have a reason to reinstall the application?

I wanted to have it back up some stuff.

When I first got it, I never installed anything. I had massive "backups." So many I thought I would try and install the software and maybe it wouldn't back up so often.

Every thing is fixed. Thank you. Turns out it was the WD External HD Software that was using up all the RAM.
    Reinstalled it and works fine.
Interesting, even doing multiple things at once I only use about 1.5GB of RAM now. so much for needing 8GB!!

    Thank you,
    Chris.
