    Posting your motherboard spec was not requested and will not affect my opinion in any way - you appear to have defective capacitors and that is the end of the story. Seek a professonal hands on opinion if you wish, but I think we are flogging a dead horse here if your capacitors are indeed failing.

    Just so you know, I didn't think by me posting the specs of my pc, that it would some how, change your mind. My intention was meant for me to give you the specs, so you could tell me where to go in order to get parts/replacements. I've looked into what rocker2u posted in one of my other threads, and looked it up. Based on how people have been responding to my threads in accordance with what I assume is the way I'm percieved around here, I'm looking into other areas, both, from hp/compaq, and other sources like ebay. Simply to continue attempting to fix my house pc. I'll post updates here and there, (with what threads will not be locked for whatever reason). However, I have come to an conclusion, that, regardless of the way I have responded in my text posts', that I am not liked to be here after this long. Its just seems like you guys just don't want. me around.

    P.S.: (Anyone can quote this): You don't have to be bad, to be exiled. You just have to be visible to that which can exile you.

    Forsaken Knight, we read a lot of different threads, if the threads get very long, without rereading the whole thread, we may start repeating ourselves. If there is direct feedback to our suggestions and not too much gap between them, we can keep track and head toward the goal of repairing your machine.

    For example, your m/b's capacitors appear to be leaking, this will make electronic components run at the wrong voltage.

    Many of us have given you the best of their experience, you will know what you have written and what you have tried/completed of the suggestions. We may have to reread all the posts again when the thread has gone "cold ".

    We trust you are not deceiving us. "Forsaken "...after all all that has been posted (at least three long threads). "Knight "...the problem is going to be defeated and it seems you would like to do it your way (some of our suggestions have been "sidelined" and we needed to request you recheck them).

    At present, the problem of leaking capacitors will need to be overcome (we would all expect this is part of the problem, if not all of the problem). When you investigate a new motherboard, you will need to consider the age of the other components...is it worth trying to keep it all going and risk another piece of hardware failing or to save the money towards a new computer?? It may be equivalent to keeping an old car running, how much money, love, etc, do you want throw at it?

    If this a was vehicle forum and we said (you could see) you had a problem with the motor, it is no use looking at other areas. There may still be problems with other areas, but to get it going again, you will need to replace the motor (motherboard) or rebuild the motor (replace the capacitors...on which I would not spend much money on, unless it was a high-end motherboard).

    We are working backwards through any errors you may have in your hardware or software. It's not personal, but it is not easy either.

    As I said before, start boosting your experience level by using your own research. Suggestion...reread all your threads, concentrating on what we have suggested, what have you fully checked or have you made a reason for side-lining them?

    As Pete said, it is hard for us to read, let alone remembering all of them if you repost at a later stage.

    Matt

    Just to add a little more - its not a question of "regardless of the way I have responded in my text posts', that I am not liked to be here after this long. Its just seems like you guys just don't want. me around. "

    I don't think you will find a group that is more eager to provide assistance to those who are genuinely interested in resolving their own problems. If I take noahdfear, PeteC, mattman and mailman for example, any and all of them will stick with a thread until a successful resolution has been achieved. But it requires accurate, meaningful and timely follow-up from the initial poster. You have not followed up on much of anything. The record on this is very clear - go back and read your threads again.

    This sums it all up from my perspective.

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
