Hi shortie58, Welcome to WindowsBBS. :)

Would you please go to UserCP and fill in your System Details and scroll to the bottom of the page to Save before you close out. This helps others to help you with your problems. Thanks.

I think you need to explain in more detail exactly what your problem is and when/how it occurs. What the error code is etc. Cheers Neil.

IE\Tools\Internet Options\Advanced. Under Browsing Uncheck Enable automatic crash recovery and restart IE or Click on the Orb start menu search box type in gpedit.msc Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\ Internet Explorer. Scroll down to Disable automatic crash recovery prompt and enable it click Ok. Hope this is what you are looking for.

Hi shortie58, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

Could you provide some more information please. What Internet browser are you using? If you are using Internet Explorer, have you tried starting IE with no add-ons? To start IE with no add-ons click Start< All Programs< Accessories< System Tools< Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). See if that makes any difference.

If you have another Internet browser installed such as Chrome or Firefox then try those browsers and see if you experience the same behavior.

Also please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions.

Note: A common error is to forget to show your System Details in your profile:

Make sure to do the above when entering your System Details, thanks.

I recently had an error which sounds very similar to the one discussed here, affecting Internet Explorer.

I solved it by uninstalling all of the third party (i.e. non-Microsoft) toolbars which had been installed in IE as add-ons.

Go to VIEW > TOOLBARS in IE8 to view the currently installed toolbars.
