I'm a long time computer user my 1st machine was a compact suitcase. You laid it flat on a table with the bottom bottom was the keyboard and there was a small green screen. I referred to it as a lug-able. I have always had desktops except for my office machine. That is laptop for taking work home. I'm an architect by trade. In the late 80's I started developing a database to track the most common paper work during the construction process. My niche in architecture is construction administration, i.e. getting the thing built. I am currently using my DB's on 5 mufti-family projects. Each project get it's own DB.

 

Hi Silvera, Welcome to WindowsBBS. You sound like you've had an interesting time with computers. My first intro/use was in '97 and it was W95 with a very quick change to W98 as the business required it. Now on W10 and so far so good. Loving it.
