HDD's spin up time

Hi,

I've just gotten a new 2.5" hard drive by Samsung.
Could you tell me if there is nothing suspicious about its spin up time value:3062ms?

If that time is "normal" for that drive, then it is functioning correctly. If it seems to be a fault, get the HDD testing utilities from Samsung. Pete has a link here http://www.windowsbbs.com/hardware/85094-hard-drive-failed.html Post #3.

 

I ran the diagnostic utility downloaded from Samsung in the morning and the HDD has passed all the tests, including the spin up time. Also, I tried different software to determine the health status of my hdd and nothing wrong has been reported.
